the making of MeyyafushiSituated in the picturesque Lhaviyani Atoll, Meyyafushi builds upon the success of BeKind’s inaugural flagship resort, Fushifaru, both located in the same atoll.
Meyyafushi represents the most recent expansion of the BeKind brand, exemplifying the values of kindness in every aspect of its being. It endeavours to merge the pinnacle of luxury and opulence – traits synonymous with the Maldives – while maintaining an empathetic approach towards the community and the natural environment in which it is situated. Furthermore, Meyyafushi seeks to render this experience more accessible and relevant to a wide array of visitors, thereby embracing diversity and inclusivity.
Meyyafushi Story
On an island of soft sands and whispering waves, Meyya lived with his Maama. Each day unfolded like a page in a book, the land and sea offering lessons to those who listened. Maama, with her wisdom rooted in the earth, began each morning with a call to the shore: “Meyya, my dhariyaa, let the land speak to you. Its voice carries the wisdom of corals, the dance of flowers, and the songs of birds. Be kind to all—the soil, the sea, the guests, and the skies above. Kindness binds us to this land.”
Seaplane Transfer
Upon your arrival, our Meyyafushi Airport host will be there to assist you with your luggage and take you to the seaplane terminal for check in. From the airport terminal you will then take a 5-minute bus ride to the TMA Seaplane terminal for your boarding.

Getting Here
Arrival
Your first Meyyafushi experience begins with your arrival at Velana International Airport where our airport Resident will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall, holding a “Meyyafushi Maldives” placard. Following your arrival, our airport Resident will escort you to the seaplane terminal, a short 5 minute trip in a shuttle bus. The day time flight to Meyyafushi Maldives is an exciting 35 minutes' journey, flying over the beautiful archipelago and witnessing the mesmerizing views of the atolls and island formations.
Departure
Departure information will be provided by your Resident Host on the evening before your departure day. Contact-less payment options will be offered during the in-villa check-out. Please maintain social distancing and wear your mask while waiting in the lounge. TMA aircrafts are sanitised before picking up guests. Face masks are mandatory during the entire transfer process. Our Airport Host will prepare a disinfected trolley for your luggage and escort you to the International departure terminal, please maintain social distancing.
